However, if your Aadhaar card is not linked to your mobile number then you may have to wait for 4 days.

In the last few days, there have been many cases of Aadhaar data leaks, since then users hesitate to share the information of the Aadhaar card with telecom companies. A few days ago, a person in Hyderabad had leaked the Aadhaar data and activated more than 6,500 fake SIM cards using fake documents.

In this situation, telecom companies turn on the new SIM after verifying the Aadhaar details of the users. At the same time, if your mobile number is not linked to the Aadhaar card, then you have to submit the physical copy of the documents given at the time of taking the mobile number in the Authorized Store of the telecom operator. Verification of physical documents can take from 4 hours to 4 days. Because of which it takes more time for your number to start.
