India has made further efforts to try neighboring countries. The biggest example of this is that PM Narendra Modi is going on a trip to Nepal a few weeks after Nepal’s PM O Oli’s visit to India. Modi is going to Nepal on 11-12 May. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj is going on a trip to Myanmar right before While this month Modi’s Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina is also scheduled to meet.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Ravish Kumar said that PM Modi is going to Nepal on a two-day visit. He will go to Kathmandu. Apart from this, preparations are also underway to go to Janakpur and Muktinath, but nothing can be said at the latest because the Indian team is still in Nepal to finalize it. It has been agreed that in the beginning of April, PM Oli of Nepal had come on a visit to India, which is considered to be very important in removing the tensions in the relations between the two countries.
Following a bilateral meeting with Oli, PM Modi announced several important structural projects for Nepal. It includes a proposal to lay the rail line from Nepal’s capital Kathmandu to Raxaul in Bihar. It is believed that Modi will inaugurate a hydroelectric project with the help of India in Nepal during this visit.
